Version 1.1.3

March 9th, 2007

Using the loaner Treo 600 – I was able to test and properly enable the one handed navigation support that has been in the code for a couple of versions but not working as expected. This is now available as release 1.1.3.

I look forward to hearing from folks how this new version works for them. From playing with the Treo myself, using one handed navigation to move around is a lot nicer than what the older versions of List provided.
Check out the download page for the new version.

Ok, I’ve installed it on my 650, but I still can’t seem to open a single record using only the 5-way control. I hit left/right and it move around between the major UI sections, but once I have the individual record highlighted, I can’t open it.

Can you give some pointers as to how it is supposed to work?

It appears that list.zip is still at version 1.12

Doug – once you have the single record selected, the center button should cause you to open it. I’ll touch base via email. You have a 650 and this was only tested on a 600.

Leon – your web browser is caching the old file. I’ll reorganize things next time to avoid this problem, but for now – simply clear your browsers cache and you should get the new version.

Now have 1.13 on a Treo 650. 5-way seems to work on database select.
In main view, 5-way will move the highlight among the buttons, catagories, and the list of records, but any attempt to select drops to cursor to the text field next to the Find button. I can’t type anything into that field either.
In edit mode, 5-way will step through each field and notes, but one press too many causes the page to scroll up and all text disappears. I have to select done, then go back to edit in order to properly re-display the edit screen.

    Thanks for all your efforts!

Ok – thanks for the details – let me see if I can fix this based on what Leon has said.
